Rather than focusing on only one person, the Genni System is designed to support both the caregiver and their loved one simultaneously. By allowing caregivers to initiate calming support in the moment, the system helps create a more stable caregiving interaction when emotional distress begins to escalate.
FOUNDER'S STORY
Peace in the Chaos Technologies was founded by Yaminah Ahmad, a caregiver to her mother living with dementia.
Before entering the world of technology innovation, Yaminah spent more than twenty years as a journalist and publicist, working in fast-paced environments where she saw how easily high responsibility and constant pressure can overwhelm even the most capable people.
Her work later expanded into teaching mindfulness meditation and resilience practices to individuals navigating burnout and emotional stress.
That perspective deepened when her family faced a series of life-changing events. After caring for her father through his battle with cancer, Yaminah became the primary caregiver for her mother following a dementia diagnosis.
Through that experience, she witnessed how quickly caregiving moments can escalate when both the caregiver and their loved one are under emotional strain.
That lived insight became the foundation for Peace in the Chaos Technologies and the development of the Genni System, a new approach to caregiving technology designed to support both individuals in the caregiving relationship during moments of distress.
Yaminah’s work is grounded in a simple belief:
